It's about time I started blogging about my short trip to Tioman Island. However, I haven't got the pictures from the others. Everyone started posting their own pictures on Facebook though. I'll only start on the details of this trip once I get all the high-quality pictures from them.
1st May 2009, Friday, Labour Day
We met at Golden Mile Complex at 6am in the morning of Labour Day. Then we boarded the coach and traveled all the way to Mersing to take the ferry to Tioman Island.
We had a bit of light meal at the food centre next to the ferry. Had to wait around 2 hours before we could get onto our ferry. Therefore we hung around the place and took some pictures. This is my Ring Formation™ picture-taking style wahaha! Haven't taken such a shot for a long time.
So it was time to board the ferry. Quite a big ship in fact. Although it's air-conditioned, I still sweat like siao inside. Couldn't really fall asleep even though I didn't sleep a wink the previous night haha! We went to the upper deck to enjoy the scenery and breeze when Tioman Island was within view.
We finally reached the island at 2pm. Wacauz! Then had to wait for the shuttle bus to fetch us to our Berjaya Tioman Beach Resort. Finally we reached our resort rooms at close to 4pm. Wacauz almost 10 hours before we can settle down.
The snorkelling trips were the most fun parts of our Tioman Island excursion. You can see plenty of aquatic fishes swimming around you in the crystal clear waters around Tioman Island. Definitely worth trying at least once in your life. Non-swimmers do not need to worry because everyone is given a life-vest and you'll be floating in the water all the time.

Can't remember much about the place. But the swimming is quite cool cos you can order drinks at the poolside bar while you're still in the pool. Awesome eh?
